You are there, and now your not; but those that are, certainly make up for it!

When diagnosed with a disease like Breast Cancer, you almost expect certain people to be there, those that are your "friends", your "family" and your medical team! I soon found out after being diagnosed this is certainly NOT the case! I had numerous people completely disappear from my life, only to have them re-appear, now, now that things are calming down, now that I can sit up to braid my daughters hair, now that I can sit at the table to help my son with home work, now that my husband doesn't have to drive me every where I go and miss work to do it! Well I'm sorry, but I don't want you back!

If someone disappears from your life through one of times that you are needing them the most, they are not worth your time when you are healthy! We have had so much love from people we know through family, people we know through my children's school, people we are now proudly calling our family and friends! They shouldn't have had to be there when I needed someone, they didn't have to step up and show that they were there if I needed or wanted something. BUT they did, and others didn't! I had family that I was hoping was going to be with me every step of the the way, and wasn't! I had family that I didn't expect to be around, and was! And there were a few people in particular that were there for me, and still are, and continue to be some of my favorite people in the world! They have shown my family love, trust, support (Emotionally and other), faith, and all around kindness! I want to make sure that the world knows how much I appreciate how much these people have helped us, and especially me. The people I am going to mention will know who they are, but I will NOT be giving out last names! And unfortunately I can not post everyone that has helped us, but I want to make sure you know you are NOT forgotten! These are just the people that had their own lives and worries, some with major issues to deal with themselves; and still made more than enough time for my family and me!!! Some are family and some are my new family!

I know I missed someone and I am sorry, my mind still isn't the greatest with memory right now! However, we are all VERY grateful and will hopefully be able to thank each and everyone of you in person some day!!!
